Since 1969, American Traffic
Safety Services Association (ATSSA) has been
representing companies and individuals in the
traffic control and roadway industry. More than
1,600 ATSSA members provide the majority of
all roadway safety features, services, materials
and leadership throughout the nation. |

One
of the primary benefits that the Houston Contractors
Association offers to its members is its political
connections. Over the last fifty years HCA has
worked to develop strong relationships with
the elected officials that represent this region
at all levels of government.

Associated General Contractors of America
(AGC), the voice of the construction industry,
is
an organization of qualified construction contractors
and industry related companies dedicated to
skill, integrity, and responsibility. Operating
in partnership with its Chapters, the association
provides a full range of services satisfying
the needs and concerns of its members, thereby
improving the quality of construction and protecting
the public interest. |

FAA
addressed a wide variety of technical issues
as the rapid evolution of aeronautics continued.
The Aviation Safety Research Act of 1988 mandated
greater emphasis on longrange research planning
and on study of such issues as aging aircraft
structures and human factors affecting safety.
